Die Lunte
Founder/Editor in Chief
Die Lunte is the founder and editor of Avalon Park Press.
Her first collection of poetry, Cicada Songs, was published in 2024.
She is the host of the Fata Morgana Lit Club & Open Mic in Austin, Texas. She has performed at poetry open mics in Boston, New York, San Francisco, Denver, and Austin. She is inspired by books and art that explore the nature of existence, human belonging, and the creative spirit. Her favorite authors include Toni Morrison, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Walt Whitman.

Our Mission:
Avalon Park Press's purpose is to facilitate the realization of artists’ and writers' dreams by creating a multi-media platform for the transmission of art.
We take risks, seeking to publish new writers and experimental creators.
We invest time in the design, editorial, and publishing process in order to convey the essence of the creator's message to the reader.
Literature has the power to convey new and critical ideas, which elevate our experience as humans on this planet.
It is Avalon Park Press's mission to connect people of diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on the Greater Austin ecos, via the power of great literature and art.
Avalon Park Press’s vision is to become the paramount press in Texas, amplifying Austin based authors, poets, photographers, artists, and musicians.
We create high-quality, legacy art publications and host free community cultural events, such as the Fata Morgana Lit Club & Open Mic, book launches, poetry writing circles, and live music.
We attract authors, poets, and musicians from out of state to Austin by hosting local events, promoting a diverse exchange of art and culture.
